1. About This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Picko Store collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you browse the website, purchase PDF products, purchase in-game products or services, use My Account or contact Support.
We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary to operate the store, process orders, fulfill purchases, provide support, maintain security and meet applicable obligations.
2. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you use Picko Store, information may include:
- email address;
- name if voluntarily provided;
- Picko Store account and magic-link login records;
- order numbers;
- products or services purchased;
- order totals and currency;
- payment status and transaction identifiers;
- PDF delivery status;
- in-game fulfillment status;
- game, platform, region, server or realm information;
- character names, usernames or player identifiers supplied for fulfillment;
- support and live-chat messages;
- dates and times associated with orders, payments, delivery, fulfillment and messages;
- technical identifiers used for sessions, security and live-chat continuity.
3. Payment Information
Payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment providers. Different providers or payment methods may be used for different product types.
Picko Store does not need to store a customer's complete payment-card number in its own store database in order to process the order.
A payment provider may collect and process information required to complete, verify, refund or investigate a transaction according to its own privacy policy and legal obligations.
4. In-Game Fulfillment Information
For in-game items, currency or boosting services, we may process information reasonably necessary to fulfill the order, such as platform, server, region, character name, player identifier, scheduling details and fulfillment communications.
Where a specific boosting service requires account access, information provided for that purpose should be limited to what is necessary for the service.
Customers should not provide authentication recovery codes or unrelated sensitive account information.
5. Why We Use Information
We may use information to:
- create and manage orders;
- confirm payment status;
- deliver purchased PDFs;
- fulfill in-game items, currency and boosting services;
- operate My Account and secure sign-in links;
- provide customer support;
- link a support conversation to an order where appropriate;
- maintain support history;
- investigate delivery, fulfillment, refund and payment issues;
- prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized use;
- rate-limit security-sensitive features;
- maintain website security and functionality;
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
6. Legal Grounds for Processing
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, information may be processed because it is necessary to perform a transaction or service requested by you, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate business or security interests, establish or defend legal claims, or because consent has been provided where consent is required.
The exact basis can depend on the customer's location, the transaction and the purpose of processing.
7. My Account and Magic Links
Picko Store uses temporary email sign-in links for My Account instead of traditional customer passwords.
We may store the customer email address, account record, hashed login tokens, token-expiration information and security records needed to provide and protect the sign-in process.
Login-request rate limiting may use hashed forms of the submitted email address and connecting IP address. Hosting or server systems may also process ordinary technical logs needed to operate and secure the website.
8. Live Chat and Support History
Picko Store operates its own website support-chat system.
When you use live chat, we may store:
- customer messages;
- support replies;
- email address if supplied;
- optional name;
- an order number if linked;
- a randomly generated chat identifier;
- message timestamps and read status.
Chat history is retained so conversations can be continued and previous support interactions can be reviewed when resolving customer issues.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Picko Store uses functional cookies and similar technologies needed for website features and security.
These can include session cookies and a randomly generated live-chat cookie used to recognize an existing support conversation.
Picko Store does not currently use its own live-chat cookie for advertising or behavioral profiling.
If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced later, this policy and any legally required controls will be updated as appropriate.
10. Email Communications
We may send transactional emails relating to:
- PDF delivery;
- My Account sign-in links;
- order or fulfillment issues;
- support communications;
- refund or payment problems;
- other communications necessary to service a purchase or request.
Transactional messages are different from optional marketing communications.
Picko Store does not currently operate a promotional email newsletter through the store system.
11. When Information May Be Shared
We do not disclose personal information simply because it has commercial value.
Information may be provided where reasonably necessary to service providers or authorized personnel involved in operating Picko Store, including:
- website hosting providers;
- email-delivery providers;
- payment processors;
- infrastructure or security providers;
- authorized fulfillment personnel where necessary for an in-game order;
- professional advisers where reasonably necessary;
- authorities where disclosure is legally required.
Information shared for fulfillment should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant task.
12. Sale of Personal Information
Picko Store does not currently sell customer personal information and does not currently use customer information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If these practices materially change, this policy and any legally required privacy controls will be updated before the relevant use begins.
13. International Processing
Picko Store may serve customers in multiple countries. Hosting, email, payment, infrastructure or other service providers may process information in countries different from the customer's location.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, appropriate measures should be used by the relevant parties.
14. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate transaction, security, support and legal needs.
Retention can be affected by:
- order and transaction record requirements;
- account and support-history needs;
- accounting or legal obligations;
- refund and payment-dispute periods;
- fraud prevention and security;
- establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
Information no longer reasonably required should be deleted, anonymized or otherwise handled according to applicable law and operational requirements.
15. Security
Picko Store uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled through the website.
Current measures include private storage for PDF files, authenticated administrative access, temporary and single-use account sign-in links, hashed secret tokens where appropriate, restricted direct access to sensitive backend files, chat-session isolation and rate limiting for selected features.
No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
16. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights relating to your personal information, such as rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to certain processing.
Where processing is based on consent, applicable law may also provide a right to withdraw that consent.
Rights can be subject to exceptions, including where information must be retained for transaction, legal, security or dispute-resolution purposes.
17. Privacy Requests

We may need to verify that the person making the request is the person to whom the relevant information relates before fulfilling the request.
18. Children's Privacy
Picko Store is not intended to collect personal information from children where doing so would require parental authorization or other procedures that the store has not implemented.
If you believe a child has provided personal information in circumstances that should not have occurred, please contact us so the situation can be reviewed.
19. Third-Party Websites and Services
Picko Store may link to or rely on third-party websites, games, platforms and payment services.
Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies and are not controlled by this Privacy Policy.
20. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Picko Store changes how the website operates, adds new product types, payment providers, fulfillment methods or needs to reflect applicable legal requirements.
